Firedancers LLC was formed on June 14, 1986. Founding members were Robert Cantrell and Kim Olsen. Charter members were Robert Cantrell, Kim Olsen, Manse Bridwell, Lucas Keith and John Fellrath. Firedancers colors originally were hung in The Trestle bar in Dallas. Other clubs who hung their colors there at the time were The Disciples De Sade and The Branding Iron. Later Texas Motorcycle Club hung they’re colors there. The Firedancers celebrated their 1st anniversary at the Trestle as Firedance 1. The Firedancers colors hung there for approximately 1 year before moving their colors to the Hidden Door when the owner of the Trestle decided to make it a “straight bar” (which lasted about 3 months). The Sundance club in Dallas was part of the source of inspiration for the Firedancers formation before it closed and that the original members all had some Indian heritage. Thus the name Firedancers was formed. Club Purpose Firedancers, Texas, is a non-political, pan-sexual, Leather-Levi Social Club with a Native American influence. The tribe formed to bring all members of the local and state community together in camaraderie and service to promote unity and to aid charitable organizations. Colors and Uniforms
